Like many small business owners, I didn’t have a roadmap, just a drive to keep trying. As my business grew from 30 women to 350 paying subscribers worldwide and thousands of women who’ve joined for fitness challenges, I figured it out step by step. I bootstrapped the whole thing and took messy action to build something of my own.

Never in a million years did I think I’d be interviewed on the news as a female entrepreneur.

I’m just a small-town girl from New Haven, Indiana. I was a 5th grade teacher.

​

I thought that’s where I’d make my mark — in a classroom with 25 kids.

But in 2020… I felt a tug I couldn’t ignore.

And I chose to bet on myself.
